Hosted by the US California Music & Art Association, etc., organised by the American Southwest Chamber of Commerce, etc., the 1st "California International Music & Art Festival", which is strongly supported by the Los Angeles County Government, will hold it's grand global opening ceremony on line on September 19th, this will be the only comprehensive music and art competition hosted in Los Angeles.
It's award certificates will be jointly issued and recognized by many music and art institutions and music art production organisers.
This charity ceremony will use all the proceeds except the event funds of the event to purchase the Covid-19 protective equipment PPE, and donate to major hospitals and police and fire stations in Los Angeles within 15 days after the event.
As one of the world's major music and art competitions in 2020, the "California International Music & Art Festival" invited well-know soprano and international cultural ambassador Jane Maria, as the vice chairman of the international jury of this competition and Vice Chairman of the Co-Bureau of the festival.
Jane Maria frequently travels internationally in order to spread Chinese culture around the world. Since the outbreak of the global epidemic this year, she has been invited to participate in the judging work of many international music and art competitions with her strong professional knowledge, stage experience and fair rigorous judge work attitude.
This time Jane Maria will also present wonderful performances for the opening and closing ceremonies of the art festival to express her support for the global fight against the epidemic.
The California International Music and Arts Festival Charity Ceremony has received strong support from all walks of life around the world, including California government officials at all levels, a strong jury composed of 33 senior judges from around the world, and leaders of business and overseas Chinese.

The California International Music and Art Festival Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") will be held online in Los Angeles from September 19th to September 26th, 2020.
1. This competition includes the following eight individual categories and four group categories:
Individual Categories
piano (solo and concerto), violin, cello, percussion, woodwind, brass.
Vocal : classical, folk, popular, chorus.
Dance: Ballet, Western, modern, Chinese folk, oriental. (Solo, duet)
Group Categories
dance, chorus, orchestra, Chinese folk orchestra.
2. This competition is open to musicians and artists from all over the world.
The age of the participants: 5 years old and above.
Piano, violin/cello: 5-6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old, 11-12 years old, 13-14 years old, 15-17 years old, adult group
Woodwind/Bronze/Percussion: 5-6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old, 11-12 years old, 13-14 years old, 15-17 years old, adult group
Vocal: 6-8 years old, 9-12 years old, 13-15 years old, 16-18 years old, adult group
Dance: Children's Group Juvenile Group Youth Group Adult Group
Note: The age of applicants for each competition is based on the birthday of August 1, 2020.
3. The competition will invite no more than 30 piano players, 30 violin players and 40 singers. Participants will be selected by expert judges designated by the competition organizing committee through a preliminary contest (evaluating application materials and watching videos).

Participating videos must be sent to the person in charge of the participating unit or uploaded to Youtube (unlisted mode) and submit the link.
