The most important event in the UK to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival was successfully held, and individual program was broadcast by CCTV

Hosted and organised by the UK Beijing Arts Center and UK Beijing Association, joined hands with China and overseas Chinese societies and artists from seven countries, the "Let's Share The Moment Together " celebration of China's 71st birthday and the Mid-Autumn Festival Online Gala was successfully held recently in London.


The evening broadcasted a video speech by the Chinese Ambassador in the UK Xiaoming Liu to the Chinese in the UK during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival.


Ambassador Liu said that during the epidemic, the majority of compatriots living in the UK are not only concerned about supporting the motherland’s fight against the epidemic, but also actively participating in the UK’s fight against the epidemic.


It demonstrates the love of the descendants of Yan and Huang and their dedication to local love.


It has built a bridge of friendship and co-operation between China and Britain, and won wide praise from the people of the motherland and from all walks of life in Britain.

As the most important celebration during the Chinese festival season in UK this year, the gala not only invited the famous soprano Jane Maria and other intentional artists, but also invited famous domestic artists such as Yu Kuizhi, Li Shengsu, Liao Changyong and Zhang Ye to perform.


The scale and influence of the event attracted wide attention from major Chinese media and made the headlines on the official website of the Chinese Embassy in the UK.


The show was brilliant! Jane Maria sang "My Motherland and I" as the highlight of the gala with the scenes of her participating in the festival celebration in many cities in the UK.


It was selected by " China Central Television ( CCTV ) " and "CCTV Music" as an overseas celebration festival special programs broadcast.

"Together, let's set off again!" the online press conference for the launching of 11th "Cultures Of China-Water Cube Cup" Chinese Songs Contest was held in Beijing on June 10. The Water Cube Cup singing competition, a national-level overseas Chinese affairs cultural brand, has been incorporated into the "Cultural China" system of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council since 2017. The competition was successfully held for ten consecutive years. More than 30,000 contestants from more than 30 countries and 50 competition areas participated in the competition. It has become the most important music and cultural event in the global Chinese community.
