Soprano Jane Maria won the Lions Clubs International "Most Influential Lion" Award

Lions Clubs International (LCI) D4-L2, 15 American Lions Clubs co-hosted the "Spring Blooming, Love Spreading!" Charity Cloud Gala held in Los Angeles.


The event presented various awards to groups and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to charity and public welfare. The celebrated soprano singer, International Cultural Ambassador Jane Maria won the "Most Influential Lion" Award.

Lions Clubs International (LCI) is the world's largest international non-governmental charity service organization with more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries.



The purpose of the gala: to cooperate and support the five major projects of the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) to raise funds (protect eyesight / empower young people / fight against diabetes / provide disaster relief / support humanitarian-childhood cancer and hunger), encourage friends of the club and the community participate in charity, spread positive energy, love can change everything!

The event invited Jane Maria to present the Chinese-English bilingual version of her masterpiece "My Roots are Yan Huang" MV produced by Henan Broadcasting Media Holding Group.

Among the guests invited to participate in the evening cloud performance were singer Stephanie Spruill, who participated in the creation of 4 Grammy Award-winning albums; guest solo harpist Alexander Boldachev of the Bolshoi Theatre; famous crosstalk performer Jiang Kun; Dale Salwak, head of the Chavez College of Magic, known as " The "Gentleman of Magic"; Sichuan Opera Face-changing artist Lian Cheng-Walker , and Chinese folk singer Ryan Wang, etc., is a dedication of love created by the Chinese and the West!

The International Police and Veterans Foundation (IPVF) Awards Ceremony was held in New York. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, President of the 74th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, received the Goodwill Ambassador Award, former New York City Police Department deputy chief Charles Scholl received the Philanthropist Award, Strategic Alliance of Asian-American Non-profit Organizations chairman H.E. Sir Jim Lin-Chi Chu, Ph.D received the Philanthropist Award, former West Orange Deputy Mayor Dr. Gonzalo Velez and his wife Dr. Josie Velez received the Lifetime Achievement Award, New York City Police Department Deputy Inspector and Commanding Officer of 109th Precinct John L. O’Connell received the Outstanding Leadership Award, Sino American Commerce Association president Sir Dr. Gary Kong received the Philanthropist Award, and International Cultural Ambassador, soprano Jane Maria received the Philanthropist Award and was awarded the title of International Cultural Ambassador. "Together, let's set off again!" the online press conference for the launching of 11th "Cultures Of China-Water Cube Cup" Chinese Songs Contest was held in Beijing on June 10. The Water Cube Cup singing competition, a national-level overseas Chinese affairs cultural brand, has been incorporated into the "Cultural China" system of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council since 2017. The competition was successfully held for ten consecutive years. More than 30,000 contestants from more than 30 countries and 50 competition areas participated in the competition. It has become the most important music and cultural event in the global Chinese community. This competition is jointly organised by Beijing Radio and Television Station, Beijing National Aquatics Center Co., Ltd., Beijing Artists Management Corp.,Ltd and IQIYI.  The online and offline methods will be combined to broadcast live on the official platforms of the competition: iQiyi, iQiyi Instant, Water-Cube official website, ChinaQW and media from participating countries.

The organising committee invites Jane Maria, the celebrated soprano singer and international cultural ambassador, as the vice chairman of the organising committee and judge of this series of activities.
